Description:

The snow storms that have hit areas across Europe are the worst recorded in 25 years. The arctic weather also extended to Italy, where a rare snowfall hit central and northern regions, covering the tourist hotspots of Pisa, Siena and Assisi and brought traffic chaos to areas north of Rome.
