Description:

Five women were confirmed drowned and nine villagers were still missing after a boat capsized in Nara Canal near Khairpur, police said. Divers had fished out four survivors while efforts are on to find out seven other missing people. The police said 16 people were travelling to village Katour from village Muhammad Hayat Shar in a boat by crossing the Nara Canal when the boat capsized. Sources said volunteers and local administration called divers to rescue the boat passengers. After hectic efforts of five hours they fished out five bodies and four survivors.
