Description:

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a school bus accident this afternoon in front of Biggersville Elementary school in Alcorn County. School officials tell WTVA that none of the children suffered any direct injuries in the accident, but officials have taken about a dozen of the children to a local hospital to be checked for possible neck and back injuries. The bus was carrying students home from a field trip when the Mississippi Highway Patrol says the bus pulled into the path of a car. The driver of that car is also in the hospital with unknown injuries. We have a crew on the scene right now - and we'll bring you more information as it comes in.
